Sensitive to Contact Lensesposted on 18 November 2007 | posted in What remedies might help my problem?Dr. George Goodheart, founder of Applied Kinesiology was asked to be a guest speaker at an opthalmologist's convention in the US. He had discovered that the reason why some people cannot tolerate them is because of there was a quality lacking in their tears. This meant that their eyballs were not properly lubricated by the tears and so keeping the contact lenses moist proves to be more difficult. Dr. Goodheart discovered that if patients' eyes were sensitive whilst wearing contact lenses, by giving them Zinc, the quality of their tears altered and they could happily wear their lenses without being sensitive to them. Try taking 1 capsule twice daily for 1 month, then reducing to once daily thereafter. The absorption of zinc in the body is aided by B6, therefore if you are not taking a multivitamin or B complex, ensure that the zinc you take includes B6. Share this blog entry:
