Pneumonia

posted on 18 November 2007 | posted in What remedies might help my problem?

Pneumonia is inflammation of the lungs due to an infection. Most pneumonia cases are caused by viral or bacterial infections, the most common being streptococcus pneumoniae. Other infections such as staphylococcus aureus can be a cause of pneumonia and mycoplasma, which is described as half way between a virus and bacteria in nature. Pneumonia can also be caused by a chlamydia infection (not usually sexually transmitted).

In the case of a person who has a immunodeficiency disorder, fungi, yeasts or protozoa may be a cause. For more information please read Candida and about intestinal protozoa
Using herbs to help support the immune system and are known to help lung infections specifically may greatly assist recovery.
Elecampane Formula is specifically formulated to help lung infections.
