Low Blood Pressure - Hypotension

posted on 22 November 2007 | posted in What remedies might help my problem?

Low blood pressure is defined as a systolic pressure less than 105 mm Hg for men and less than 100 mm Hg for women. However it is of no concern unless associated with symptoms such as low endurance levels, dizziness (especially on standing), fainting or fatigue. It is often results from overly lax blood vessel walls or adrenal glands that are hypofunctioning. Hyssop, a general endocrine tonic, is usually regarded as the prime herb for treating hypotension, through Korean ginseng and other adrenal tonics are often recommended, and are combined in Hyssop Plus Formula. Circulatory stimulants can also raise blood pressure, and if these are needed are available in Prickly Ash Formula
